This free event is organized by BC ALPHA, the Association for Learning & Preserving the History of WWII in Asia. If you teach grade 11 or 12  Social Studies subjects in the Lower Mainland, consider bringing your students to this informative, engaging event.

The theme this year is Human Rights in the Asia-Pacific: 1931 – 1945. There are three locations and two dates to choose from. Register early before October 31 as space fills up quickly. Click here for more information.

IHRDSS has been organized to help students better understand and reflect on issues of human rights violations during the Asia-Pacific War (1931- 1945) and to make connections to present day local and global issues. Click here to register your students.
