Security, Surveillance & Human Rights

The first PeaceTalk of 2015 kicks off on February 11th at The HiVE with a talk on Security, Surveillance & Human Rights. We have a great panel featuring speakers from the BC Civil Liberties Association, Open Media and Amnesty International, that will explore how freedom of expression and the right to information are violated in the name of security. Topics for discussion will include internet and cellphone privacy, mass surveillance in Canada and beyond, and detecting government spyware. Click here to register early and automatically enter a draw to win a #pgtalks prize!
